We finished off a wonderful walk around Oslo with a delicious 10 course meal at the michelin star restaurant, Kontrast.
We started off with some celebratory bubbly…
You can never go wrong with serving me a yummy egg followed by some soft cheese!
Every meal was paired with tasty wine.
Raw shrimp with flowering dill and Kohlrabi.
Duck liver with fermented cherries.
Freshly baked bread and home-churned butter along with some yummy scallops.
Monkfish cheeks with cauliflower and crispy chicken skin.
Grilled beetroot with black currant and lovage.
Elk with onion.
Lamb with salsify and coffee.
Kraftkar (Norwegian blue cheese) with cep (European mushroom) and malt.
Norwegian apples with goat cream.
Pumpkin with elderflower berries and sea buckthorn.
Of course we couldn’t leave before thanking the chef for this amazing meal!
